IRAF Hectospec Data Reduction Package
The
Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Telescope Data Center
has written a package of IRAF tasks to automate the reduction of data from the
Hectospec
low-dispersion spectrograph which is used on the
MMT 6.5-Meter Telescope
.
The pipeline
reduces raw images containing 300 spectra per exposure to sky-subtracted spectra in individual IRAF multispec files.
