Instrumentation included:
- a CCD camera used for astrometric studies of comets and asteroids

- an Echelle spectrograph used for radial velocity studies of stars, including planet searches,
- (Peterson et al. 1993, Geary et al. 1990),
- (Mazeh, Latham & Stefanik 1996)
,- an optical search for extra-terrestrial civilizations, and
- other instruments such as MIT's high-speed photometer
