filename: Name of IRAF image header file or FITS file. This must be present.
x range: Range of x coordinate values. If 0, sum across all columns.
y range: Range of y coordinate values. If 0, sum across all rows.
-d: Compute and print standard deviation (Added in version 2.6.8)
-m: Compute and print mean (Added in version 2.6.8)
-n: Number of decimal places in output (Added in version 2.6.11)
-r: Compute and print variance (sum of squares) (Added in version 2.6.8)
-s: Compute and print sum (default) (Added in version 2.6.8)
-v: Print more information about the process
