SAOTDC 4.0 -
A Data Manipulation Package for IRAF

SAOTDC is an IRAF add-on package developed at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Telescope Data Center to contain a number of utility tasks for manipulating data files and adding system utilities to IRAF Someday I'll get around to describing all of the tasks in the package.

The latest version is available in IRAF SPP source code via ftp at

Some of the tasks were written for the pipeline described in a paper entitled "A Production System for Radial Velocity Measurements", by Doug Mink and Bill Wyatt, presented at the First Annual Conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems (ADASS 91) in Tucson, Arizona in November 1991 and published in Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems I, ASP Conf. Ser., Vol. 25, eds. D.M. Worrall, C. Biemesderfer, and J. Barnes, p. 439-441 (1992).
