Cursor Commands in
xcsao and
emsao
When the graphic cursor remains active in
xcsao or
emsao
after a spectrum, transform, or correlation is plotted and labelled, the
following keystrokes may be used to redisplay the spectrum. In addition,
the standard IRAF cursor facilities are available; a menu of them can be
obtained by typing :.help.
- ?
- Print list of emsao cursor commands.
- c
- Print the X and Y coordinates of the current cursor position.
- d
- Replaces a region between the two successive uses of this command with
interpolated values from the edges of the marked region. This is typically
used to eliminate cosmic rays or poorly subtracted night sky lines.
x can be used to restart after the first d.
- h
- Print a menu of these single-character cursor commands.
- p
- Select a correlation peak
- *This is used only when displaying a filtered cross-correlation in
xcsao.
- q
- Leave plot and return to text terminal
- r
- Replot the current graph
- s
- Reset the peak search half-width
- *This is used only when displaying a filtered cross-correlation in
xcsao.
- u
- Unzoom back to display of all data after a
zoom command.
- x
- Cancel
delete and
zoom commands before second keystroke.
- z
- Replots the region of the spectrum in wavelength between two successive
uses. x can be used to cancel the first z.
- @
- Make hard copy of graph to plotter.
- ?
- Print a menu of these single-character cursor commands.
