In general, observing proposals are due at noon (US East coast time)
on the first or second Tuesday of March, July, and November
(
NOTE: due to plans for
IOTA ceasing operation,
the next due date is 01 Feb 2006!
).
Announcements are usually sent out one month in advance.
If you would like to receive an announcement,
please contact
Wes Traub.
Before submitting a proposal, please look at the TAC web pages
http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/~kenyon/TAC/ .
You may also go directly to the web form at

(CfA internal only; for computer security reasons
external users have to use a different access, please
contact us
for the appropriate procedure). -
We welcome proposals from new or experienced IOTA observers.
New observers should work with experienced ones on-site each night.
For safety, no one should work alone at IOTA.
Recognizing that SAO
has a major investment in IOTA, we ask that
scientific work with IOTA include SAO personnel as collaborators.
Due to weather conditions,
IOTA formally shuts down for July, August, and September.
In preparation for a trip to Mt. Hopkins, check the
site logistics.
